Kenneth M. Petruska, RPA leads Summit’s Property Management and Distressed Asset Services division. He is a 22-year veteran within the property management arena providing comprehensive office, industrial and retail property management experience. During his career, he has been responsible for the oversight of a national portfolio consisting of up to 8 million square feet (msf). Responsibilities have included business development, budgeting and forecasting, NOI optimization, tenant relations, and overall property operations.

Ken brings impressive experience within the Property Management area. Prior to joining Summit, he established a new Property Management division at NAI Olympia Partners. Prior to that undertaking, he served as Vice President of Portfolio Management and Property Operations for retail developer, Kite Realty Group. And before joining Kite, Ken served as Managing Director of Asset Services for CB Richard Ellis. While there, he and his 40+ member team managed a portfolio of 8 msf of Class A assets in the Indianapolis market including Capital Center, Two Market Square, Market Square Center, and Meridian Plaza. During his 7-year tenure at CBRE, he increased the total square footage under management by 5 msf and increased profitability of the Asset Services division multiple times, winning a national profitability award in 2006.

Prior to joining CBRE, Ken held the position of Market Leader for Lowe Enterprises Midwest, and of Vice President for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker. He began his real estate career with the Edward J. DeBartolo Corporation (now Simon Property Group).
