Dave Harstad
Senior Vice President & Managing Broker
Dave Harstad is a multi-disciplined real estate professional with 10+ years of real estate and legal experience. He has worked in both commercial and residential real estate. In addition, Dave has worked as a developer on diverse projects including industrial parks, retail centers, office parks, apartment communities, and single family subdivisions. Dave serves as the Managing Broker of Summit’s Bloomington office.
Prior to joining Summit, Dave worked as a real estate developer. He served as Vice President with Carmel, Indiana based multi-family developer, Pedcor Companies. Before that, he was Vice President of Development with Denison Properties, Inc., an Indianapolis-based land development firm. While at Denison he worked on industrial, retail, and residential land development located in central Indiana. Earlier, Dave worked in law and politics in Minneapolis, MN, Bozeman, MT, and Washington, DC.
Dave has extensive experience assisting clients with entitlements, incentives, and property tax appeals. He also adds value by providing insightful consulting services regarding site planning and related civil engineering and construction matters.
Mr. Harstad graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Indiana University and cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School.
